Nowadays, we are having a more portable life. We listen to music and watch videos on the way. So can we make DVDs more portable? Well, I really do not mean to take a DVD player around, how about cellphone, such as iPhone?

Set the movie “Shutter Island” as an example.
Step 1: Add DVD
After insert the disc, press “Add Video/DVD” button to load the movie.
Step 2: Choose File Format for iPhone 4S
In Profile, there are some predefined settings. Click Profile > Apple iPhone > Apple iPhone 4S H.264 Movie.
For more advanced users, you could even set parameters.
Since iPhone 4S video format supported:
• H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;
• MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats.
Click Profile Setting button, choose the .mp4 format, and set the configurations.
PS: If you want the language and subtitle of the output movie not to be English, you need to choose Audio Channel and Subtitle before your conversion.
Step 3: Rip DVD to Mac
Click the Convert Now button to start the conversion.
PPS:: If your DVD is like my “Shutter Island” are separated in files, and you do want them to be in one file. Then you can click Any Video Converter Ultimate on the menu bar > Preferences > DVD > Entire DVD, and tick it.
Step 4: Transfer “Shutter Island” to iPhone 4S
Connecting iPhone to Mac, and the program will detect your iPhone device automatically. Then click the Mobile Devices button on the tab bar, and then click the button Mac To Device, select “Shutter Island” to import.
PPPS:Given that an iPhone is only corresponding to one iTunes, so if you don't want to erase any music and movie in your iPhone, please open the iTunes before you plug in your iPod, go to iTunes on the menu bar > Preferences > Devices, under Device tab, check on the option Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically.
